Daniel R. DiMicco is chairman, president, and chief executive officer of Nucor Corporation, a manufacturer of steel products that include carbon and alloy steel; steel joists and joist girders; steel deck; and metal building systems. He joined the company in 1982. Previously, Mr. DiMicco was with Republic Steel Corporation. He has a B.S. degree in engineering, metallurgy, and materials science from Brown University and an M.S. from the University of Pennsylvania.
