As vice chairman and chief executive officer of Best Buy, Brad Anderson believes that constant innovation is required to enhance the quality of the customer experience. Mr. Anderson joined Best Buy, North America's leading consumer electronics company, in 1973 and was named vice president in 1981. In 1986, Mr. Anderson was promoted to executive vice president and was elected to Best Buy's board of directors. In 1991, he was promoted to president and chief operating officer. Mr. Anderson was named vice chairman in 2001 and assumed the position of CEO in 2002.
